I just called "ZAR" this morning and he was cool enough to charge me $400 for installing and painting my wings west. He's goin to be around my area so he'll just pick up my kit tomorrow hehehe. Thanks a lot man.
did you be sure and tell them its a lip kit???????? that makes a world of difference in paint costs
ya...I told him its a lip kit. He knocked $50 off the actual price he quoted me and eventually went down to $400. Is that still expensive for installing a lip kit?

nope.. thats about the usual price for doing a Urethane lip kit...
prep & paint on EACH Urethane piece is about $75 to $100 COST... then you gotta factor in paying for the labor... and next, installation not to mention, BUT look at the normal clients TPR gets - not a bunch of ricers, but many big name companies or people who depend on perfect results for their photo/show-quality vehicles...
considering that this is the first time you will be bringing your car there and that the shop doesn't know you from any other person on the street... you got a great deal for $400 paint & install
if this sort of thing was so cheap and easy to do.. you wouldn't see so many rice-boys driving around in unpainted kits that don't fit

-My friend just bought a body kit for his 2000 integra gs and install it by himself w/ his friend helping. Guess what!? The side kit can move up and down..back and forth the front and rear bumper doesn't even fit right...gap everywhere...why not...it's only a replica kit and this dude actually drive around with his unpainted body kit acting like his car is real cool and fast. the funny thing is he want to race me and he got an auto
Anyway, I'm gonna re-paint my whole car a different color..maybe baby blue..or light blue...or orange..don't know yet. The body shop quote me 2 thousand dollars for everything + remove all the dents. Is the price good?? Thanx
