That's a nice kit. I'd get it if it went into production and was affordable. The rear bumper though...they should make it without that extra part on the left. That would look good if you're running a dual exhaust setup but I wouldn't be comfortable with that extra space and a single setup.
"Is finally seeing light. All of you that have emailed and PMed the hell out of me over the last few years, today is the day. The Blown body kit is 2.5 months away from production. I have talked to Craig over at Krazy Kustoms (Site Sponsor BTW) and he has 100% backing in the Celica market. I promised him a body kit that would make you wanna get out your credit card. He has agreed to make the kit if we want it.
Now this is where you can ask your questions about anything with the kit you want. What I need is a list of interested celica owners. Post what you think of the kit. The biggest thing is deciding if it will fly or dive.
A little history. This kit was designed almost 3 years ago when I was doing a photoshop of a Ferrari Modena. Then everyone thought I should have the thing made. Well, it was unrealistic with the air flow to the radiator blocked and the rear end really didn't do it for anyone. So then I sent back to the drawing board. I pulled off both bumpers and designed the kit around the structure of the car so it was realistic, then flowed it into the body lines and viola! The new design. This design was almost built before, but the company that did it only did custom work, and didn't have time for a full production. No one I talked to did. As of 30 minutes ago, that all changed."
Here are more photochops from early 2001...

You know...I think it would look even better with a hole in the bumper like the one one the Veilside...you know, the place where the toyota emblem usually sits. I think that would just be the finishing touch! The only reason I haven't bought the kaminari kit is because I have been waiting for this one. If it gets produced...within the next 2 months. I will definately have one of the first ten!
i Just emailed krazy kustoms about it, i really want that kit, preferably the 8 piece widebody, if they are truly making it, i am going to pay for my order right now, i will also pay for the 4 peice, but i really want the 8 peice, but either one will be alright, so ill see what they say whem they email me back, i hope they are, i want that kit!!

I'm pretty sure the a-spec (widebody) will not go in production. Only the modena kit is being made and fender flares are optional on the latter...

the rear bumper is a rip off of the bomex with a little twist but i like it
the rest sucks
It looks a lot like the Bomex because he submitted his design to Bomex and they stole it. He came up with the designs before the Bomex or K2 kit came out. The designer was the one who got ripped off.
Did any of you guys go to the link I posted?? IT IS BEING PRODUCED.
its not being produced yet, they are in production, but you cant buy it, there still over in japan!!
The company that is making it is right here in the U.S.
just cuase the company is here, dont mean the s**t cant be made overseas, thats the major factor with current manufacturers, its 10 times cheaper over there, they are having it made over there, and then ship over all the final kits!!
