after installing my Carbon Fiber hood the other day, it started squeaking during my drive. if i push one side slightly up and down, it seems like the other side squeaks from some kind of rubbing. i'm not using hood pins and just wondering if i should get some, would it also stop the squeaking noise by holding the hood tighter?
what's the recommended hood pins to get and is it easy to install them? i know there's going to be some drilling involve
Yeah, theres drilling involved in both the hood, and the metal part (forget name because im tired) where the hood lays in the front corners. I know drilling 'sucks', but its better then driving on the freeway and having that sucker flip up...make you wreck...or make someone else wreck...
--EDIT-- Note to self, ascii art does NOT work on here...
They sure do...imagine driving on the freeway, going like 60mph...and your hood just all of a suddan flips up on your windshield...causing you to wreck and hit another car...or having it flip up...go over your car and into another car.
