If there was no Celica, what would you have gotten or considered getting?

Since I bought a '03 GTS brand spanking new and had a few things added (security system, Diamond coat interior/exterior/undercarriage etc, $1600 system) it was over $40 000 Canadian with taxes (hurtin' 14% and then loss on trade in..big story.)

I would have wanted to get a 1980's Porsche 911SC, 1998 Porsche Boxster, '94 Supra TT, 350Z (would have taken a bit more cash,) or I may have stuck with the Type-R had it been black. I didn't go with any of the above because of insurance & repair costs.

What about you?

i almost got an FD, it was the sweetest car...

jet black, upgraded Turbo's with BOV, MT, just a beautiful car...

it was on its second engine, had 30,000 miles on it, and people that know those old rotaries know that the seals go after about 60-80,000 miles...

it was 17k ... my dad wouldnt let me cry didnt like the idea of the engine having to be replaced once already...

I was actually deciding between the WRX and the CELICA...

I just don't like the new Body style for the rex...
And, You can make those things BEASTLY fast!...
However, I don't need TONS of speed right now! I would rather have a car that is funner than sh!t to drive and pics up multiple chicks!

True, it is hard squeezing them in the car...but you get the point!

yeah i agree the celica gets more boobies than a wrx would but the things stopping me was it was a few grand higher then i was going to spend and i know i would probobally do something stupid in it spineyes

wtf are you talking about??

the WRX is 227 Turbocharged...faster than a GTS...

like 0-60 in 5 something...

the STi is 300 which is even faster, but you can make a WRX that fast...

and the new design is awesome!

i wanted to get an 02 cause i had a lot of things i wanted to get...i mean look at this thing... tasty

^^billy, they're only supposed to be about a half-second faster in the 1/4 (a little more), so i was wrong about saying my car was faster--thats what i get for bein to lazy to look up states (actually 14.4 for the wrx and 15.2 for the gts)

anyway, i've beaten one before (only raced one) so thats why i said that. guess its just a difference between drivers. thumbsup

and anyway--i find that pic to be hideous (even more so than a stock wrx).

just my opinion. leave the wtf's alone as well.

I looked at Maximas, & IS300s. Ultimately decided that I didn't wanna do the 4-door thing.

ditto. i'm not into 4-door cars.

personally i still think there is no such thing as a 4-door sports car.

the lancer evo and wrx sti come close--but i still classify them as typical rally cars (which is their original purpose)

rx-8--depends on if you actually call the two rear 'doors' doors.
