I'm thinking about installing them myself so I can save money for other mods. Are there any resources out there that can provide instructions to assist me?

it'll be something quite similar to this:

ecelica.com: installs: trd springs

the most important thing to remember (do NOT do without) is to use a spring compressor. without one you can quite easily dismember yourself and even kill yourself if a compressed spring comes flying at you.

if you have mechanical knowledge..it can be done without a lot of difficulty (about a 6 on a scale of 1-10) and obviously you have to use at least 2 people.

if this is your first mechanical project, i recommened taking it to a shop. thumbsup

Thanks for all the advice. I'll give it a shot myself. I think I'm mechanically inclined grin. If I can't do it, I'll take it to a shop.

I got my TRD's done at the dealer but it's apparently pretty easy with spring compressors. You can rent them for cheap I've heard.

- let us know what avenue you take and how they turn out...
