hey i drive a 00 gts and when i bought the car it came with Dunlop SP Sport tires... well to replace the 2 front two tires i will need 240 which is not very cheap, so i'm thinking if i'm gona go out i might as well go out on something really good... the guy told me that import tires are chaper but i dunno if they're good or what... what would you guys recommend, what do you have? what about those yokohama tires, do they have anything good that would fit the celica... or what about toyo tires? any help will be greatly appreciated guys, thanks in advance

www.tirerack.com [tirerack.com] for the best prices on tires that are performance.. If you have a GTS I ouwld recomend Z rated tires for maximum stickyness at high speeds. I have Yok, 17's 215/40/z17 and they handle like a mofo...

I have had Yoks on my car from day one. The stock Avid A4, then ES100's now i am trying out the Spec-II's. The only bitch that i have about the tires is the treadwear, but i think that is due to my driving style.

Check out tires.com or tirerack.com.

Tires.com gives you free shipping, but tirerack.com seems to be like 2 or 3 cukcs cheaper. Just compair the prices on both sites and see what is cheaper. thumbsup

my spec II's are wearing out really nice, they still look like new after one yr of use. only downside of them is that they suck in the rain. that's why i'm gonna upgrade & get the avs sport.

you should really look into replacing all 4 tires, so that they are all the same and so that you can rotate them so they last longer and you'll get a bigger bang for you buck[/color]
