just a couple of questions for anyone out there that has these...i helped the tech at the dealership install mine the other day and was wondering 1)how much of a difference does it make (its been raining here and i havent had a chance to give them a test 2)there are two settings, race and street, on the rear sway bar but there were no instructions. which is which and what setting do all of you have yours on? 3) i have noticed a little more noise when driving around town, is that the norm?
thanks in advance
cheers

1) As soon as you can try it, your gonna love it. Such as nice feel.

2) The upper holes are street and the lower holes are race.

3) Yes the noise is normal, your suspension is moer rigid so you hear more of the road noise (feedback)

is it true that with sway bars there is a more likely chance to "fish tail" your car? my friend who races n/a cars in the track says that people who but those in their cars (and who are not accustomed to driving with them ) usually fish tail thier vechicle at high speed. what do you guys think? he races hondas and intergras and i was wondering if it doesn't apply for our cars (since ours corner great anyway even at stock)?

All I know is that if you try to take a turn too fast in any car your going to "fish-tail" so maybe your friend just tries going to fast confused

Hello everybody...
i'm going to buy Hotchkis's sway bars...the street version...
But i heard something about some breakages of the rear one.One answer could be that Hotchkis's sway bars are hollow.
Do you think that Hotchkis's sway bars are a good product?
And what can you tell me about the Eibach's sway bars or the Whiteline?
Thanks in advance...

does anyone know the difference between hotchkis' sport sway bars and their race sway bars? what would be some down side of having the race sway bars in daily use, as oppose to the sport sway bars? why are racing tires needed for the race bars?
thanks
kim

If I am correct, the difference between the race and the street sway bars is the rear bar. The street rear bar is slightly thinner than the race sway bar. Both front sway bars are teh same. Race tires are recommended for the race sway bars because of the EXTRA stress put on the tires.
