quick question on the benefits of Co2 and N2O. i have been looking at the CryO2 system and it looked good to me but i want to know if im just wasting my time with this or if i could expirence some gains. i would really prefer N2O but i dont want to void my warranty with less than 8,000 miles on my car. Co2 is cheaper to fill up but cant hold a candle to the HP benefits of N2O. i am also worried about being able to use CO2 and N2O on one Intake without some kind of prob. any help or opinons would be great.

are you talking about nitrous oxide systems vs carbon dioxide (CO2) intercooler spray systems? Don't use the carbon dioxide system because it sprays C02 into the engine bay and will be sucked up through the Intake which will then displace 02 molecules and you'll decrease Performance. That's what I heard from Turbo guys anyway. Nitrous oxide(N2O) is combustable and you won't have that problem that you have with CO2.
You shouldn't even be worrying about all this because you don't have Turbo or s/c, do you?

if you want gains, go with nitrous.
it'll cost about 1000 to get a good setup.

a kid told me that celicas handle like crap... i laughed

as Steven mentioned, please don't waste your time with CO2. get nitrous if you want gains - I recommend the Zex wet kit

actually not the IC sprayer systems but the Intake cooler systems. i want N20 but dont want to have to void my warranty, thats why im considering CO2. does this clear things up?

Intake cooler? You're all mixed up bro. Companies like NOS(Nitrous Oxide Systems) and NX (Nitrous Express) make kits that spray a mix of nitrous oxide and gasoline into the Intake stream which contains a lot of oxygen molecules which is then combusted in your engine. There is no such thing as a said, "intake cooler."

dont waste you time dude! you would have better results,by getting a long slim aluminum tube and punching small holes in it,and wrapping it neatly around the Intake runners(if you are a gts)and the lower Intake manifold,then you spray the co2.but you would have to have a cold air Intake,cause,as one person above said,if the co2 gets into the Intake,it will make you lose power. fu.ck,why go through all that trouble for a street car? put in a 50 shot and forget about it!

If it has some fins inside the tube, I believe it can cool the air and so increase power. BUT it will decrease the airflow trough the Intake and so it will probably not increase power.
If it has no fins inside the tube, it will not decrease the airflow, but it also won't cool the the air much. So there will be probably no Performance gain (maybe 2 hp or so).
Now if you have a Turbo with intercooler, that intercooler CO2 spray looks very promising. It cools the intercooler down from the outside, so that will increase Performance.

they also have a fuel rail cooler
if i had money to burn i would get them them just for some extra bling but i honsetly don't think its worth it

I just recieved a dealer information package from DEI.
The C02 system from DEI does not release waste C02 into the engine bay.
The Bullet shaped object that sits inside your Intake is a gas thru system. It passes through the bullet, effectively cooling the air passing over it by at least 35%. Once it has passed through it, the waste gas is vented out the other side of the Intake. You can have it vent anywhere you wish (no different than a nitrous purge setup).
There's a dude with a mustang who bothered to Dyno the results, looking at 8-10 horsepower. Which isn't bad, but they want $300+ for the install kit and $150 for the Intake kit.
I'd spend $150 on the Intake mechanism, but i think i could source the 5lb tank, solenoid valve, and WOT switch for less than $300... If the whole thing ended up costing me around $300, I think I'd do it. After all, my AEM CAI was about that much, similar gains.
Just my 2 cents.
