Does your body kit paint match with the rest of the car 100%. The reason why I'm askin is because a friend of mines told me that it will not match with the factory paint fully and I'm better off painting the whole car if I wanted it to look clean. Is this true or not?

Wish I knew a a good bodyshop around here in rhode island. The last time I had my back fender panel painted, it didn't match. Darker than usual (very annoying). angry

well how about this...

first time i had mine done, it was 1800 for VS sides and rear, with blitz front painted...

the blitz front wasn't painted very well, didn't sand good..

the sides were ok, they aren't very shiny though and the paint actually chipped off in the wheel well area, not from rocks...same with the rear...

and the rear is kinda shitty when the car is clean, you can see the scratches under/in the paint...idk from what...

then i had the VS2 front done somewhere else and it was good cool

but now, with the damage done to the front and rear, and sides...i need things repainted for 1000 fucking dollars...

and the front alone done was 550...

so talk about money...and painting... frown

I have a full blitz kit with molded sides.Counting the price of the kit i have 3 grand in my kit.I had to have it installed and painted a second time.If its any kind of a good body shop they will blend the bumpers into the fenders and the side skirts into the door and stuff like that...

my friend had to go to a body shop twice
once for someone keying his car
and the other from being in an accident
both times the bodyshop had to remove a lot of panels
these guys matched a factory paint job 100 percent
i am going there to paint my bodykit, nuff said thumbsup

Mine matches perfectly too; another thing the bodyshop can do is blend the new paint onto the old so that if there is any slight variation, it will be much less noticeable.
