Celica Forums General Discussion General shift cable

i've looked around, on the web, in this site and others and can't find a how-to/diagram/intructions on how to remove or instal the shift cables. one of mine broke and i don't feel like paying $400us for labor when i'm decently competant but i don't like to just dive in. could anyone help or dig this info up?

Take it to the dealer, you can't buy the proper cables any longer, toyota doesn't make them anymore.

really? well that sucks, though B&M sells cables of different lengths and i wanted to avoid all the crap i get from the dealer around here... so.. does anyone know were a how-to/diagram/whatever for changing shift cables?
