Ahhh I see...what is your mileage? Just curious are you under the 36,000 mile warranty? Will they fix it under that warranty? I am JUST under 36k (35384) to be exact...am i screwed? Should I just buy the Climate control one? How much is that one? Yeah...i have a lot of questions...

I am in 40k but I bought the fucking extended warranty which is worthless, and they told that, the warranty will not cover that, to buy the climate control piece from a dealership is going to be about $260 bro, and if they are dicks at your dealership they are not going to let you installet your self.

just order the board from another dealer, it's not too hard to install.

I did it on my car a few weeks ago, you have to take the center dash apart, but it's not too hard.

because thats the price the dealership pays for the part... if they are asking you $250 for the part, they want to make $200 from the sale spineyes

do what was mentioned above and call around, I'm sure you will find another place selling that same part for an incredibly different price wave

You need to find a different dealer.
I just ordered the face plate the goes over the temp. controls because I melted my last one(shhhhiamstfu don't tell carbon_blue_gt)
The dealer is charging me $86 and the part only costs like $65. They have to make a little money on it but, not as much as they are trying to charge you.

I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

They aren't LED's. But you can buy some LED's and splice them into your lighter. Cheap, brighter, and you can pick your color.

Now I get it!! My one light went out last summer. The parts guy at my local dealership was baffled because he couldn't find part number on any of his diagrams, so he just said sorry about your luck. So I got pissed and yanked the other light out because it looked stupid half lit, and I just painted over it all and said screw it. Wish I had the lights but I will not pay that kinda money because of two little doodly-fuck dinkshit .03 cent lights. Ah, I feel better now, sorry about the rant!

all cars have problems - you see more problems posted about the Celica on this site than you do for other cars, because 99% of all visitors to here, own the same car model

i can list several problems with the new 2001 Honda civic - my mom has one and its constantly being fixed for different things either falling off or not working "perfectly"

more electronic toys = more "problems"
just be glad you don't own a 7-SERIES BMW... C&D rated that car the highest in problems (Lexus es was rated best as having the least problems)

yeah ur right. im just being paranoid because this is the biggest investment i have and i wanna try and maintain it good on my own and not taking it to the dealer because they charge too much. Oh by the way, will my warranty void if i do that disabling the DRL on my own?
