I don't think the RMM scoop would be damaged... did you try to pm Tater?

It's just the underside..You'll just make the hole bigger by putting the bolt in, it won't damage it..

That's lame, sorry to hear about your dilemma man. It makes sense to me though to just use the stock scoop bolts, but to be safe just wait until RMM contacs you. You can call them to, they are easy to get ahold of Good luck with the scoop!

Evan, You need to use the studs from your stock scoop. Put one of the nuts on the stud then screw it on while pushing down using a 10mm socket on a ratchet or nut driver. If the Fiberglass breaks out or if the holes are too large, you may need apply a dab of epoxy on the threads to bond the studs in their mounting holes.

i have it and yes, just replace the four bolts with the four stock ones... but be careful, i overtightened the inner drivers side bolt and snap...the bolt just bolt all the Fiberglass and now it doesn't sit as flush, but you can't notice it that much...kinda sucks don't tighten them one by one, tighten one a little, then do the one diagonal from it and so on, a little bit at a time till they are all evenly tight and you won't have any problem.. i was too excited when i did mine

yeah evan be careful when you screw the bolts on. the rmm hoodscoops holes are too small for the stock hoodscoop's bolts. forcing the bolts in will chip the holes and then your gonna have to use some sort of expoy to fill them back in. what i did was drill the holes out a tad bigger and that gave me enough room to screw the bolts in without damaging the rmm hoodscoop. if you do this you need to be careful not to drill straight through the hoodscoop. and if you don't want to deal with all this you can also just tell them to fix it for you, that way you don't risk messing up your new hoodscoop.
