Does anyone know what the correct rpm's for each gear on a celica gt is? I mean, what rpm range is ment for 1st gear, 2nd gear etc. What RPM is recommended for changing gears from 1st-2nd-3rd etc ?

All my other cars hasn't been as rev-happy as the celica is, so I've gotten used to changing gears at about 2500-3000 rpm. Just had to check with the rest of you how you drive, 'cause my GT doesn't really feel to confident with anything less than 3000 (preferably 3500) when changing gears. Just thought I might be "punishing" the car driving it like this

For normal driving, around just under 4400 rpms when VVT- kicks in VVT-I isn't something that kicks in at a defined RPM. What is VVT-I [ toyota-europe.com] Anyway, 2500 if the engine is cold. 4000 if the engine is warm. 6700 when racing.
