Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Gunmetal or Bronze rims...?

I can't really decide on which would look better, bronze or gunmetal on my black celi... I kinda like the bronze ones, but I have a lot of carbon fiber, so I'm thinking the gunmetal ones. Actually they have these in chrome too, and they look pretty good for chrome rims, but they're like another $300 for the chromies. I know a lot of ppl here are hatin on the chrome, but for a show car... Hmmm... Maybe I'll get the gun metal, and save up some more, then sell them and get the chrome... Can't make up my mind, but I definitely want these rims. I love the style of these Katanas. VR-6. What do you guys think?

those are exact copys of the racing hart cr, so i would save your money and the real thing...oh ya, i would get gun metal out of your choices...depends on your car color though...stay away from chrome = RICE

get a nice bronze. bronze looks the sickest on black to me. but the bronze color for the rims you picked arent the greatest. i say something like volk te37s

dont get katanas you should rather save up for some more upscale rims ...and if your thinking about ordering from wheelmax.com call them before you order and save up all your money because they never have anything in stock :cough:they suck:cough:

Yeah I looked into the Racing Hart CR's, but they're like $500+ each! Not including tires. Unless you guys know where I can get them for cheaper? Do they even come in chrome or bronze? Can't really afford 2+G's for a set of rims, that's just crazy. Why are they so much more? Plus the lines on the Katanas are more defined IMHO.

GunMetal!, i got them on my black Celi, they give you a type of sleeper/mysterious look! Even though they are dark they stand out and get lots of attention

both look good but if it were my car i'd get gunmetal. the ultimate decision is really up to what you like best so don't let people influence you.

I'd go with the chrome .. but hey that's just me!
