Ok. 2 way is where you have a main mid driver, and then 1 tweeter on top. 3 way is one mid driver underneath and 2 tweeters on top...get it. 1+2 = 3way.

I know that pioneer made some
they were 6x9"s and they had the bottom mid driver and then 3 tweeters! They actually sounded very good and could take a serious pounding!!! Kinda like LostAngels ass...
I was gonna go with the 4-ways but many people told me that for a small car like the celica, it just woulnt sound right. The 3-ways go so much better with it.

ive got four ways i believe pioneer are the only one who make them well atleast in a 6.5" but it just widens the range and itsl ike a 4 speakers in one
