18s with 40 sidewall tires (like 225/40/18, for example) will only 'raise' your car 1/2" over the stock gts rims (205/50/16). so basically with 18s, your car only 'grows' 1/2". add a bomex kit (anyone know what the bomex drop is? like 1 1/2" or 2") and then the sportlines will drop 2.4" in the back and 1.8" in the front. it'll be pretty low...you'll have to take some ungodly angles getting into a driveway but it really depends on how your roads are. you really want your car to clear at LEAST 3" (legal is 4" in most states)

Do not worry you will be ok. Here is the Eibach Sportlines drop on 15" stock rims and VS-1 kit. P.S.And VS kit is lower than most of the kits...

You'll be okay with the kit and the sportlines or hotchkis for most roads. But to be on the safe side, TRD might be the way to go.

y do companies make kits so low??? sure it looks great, but they can't expect us to get 19-20" rims n go to shows everyday...i love the kaminari..it's not that huge, but i'd still look weird havin the wheel gap with a decent drop on 17's, eh..just speakin my mind.. good luck anyways!

So are the hotchkis springs lower or just about equal when lowering compared to the eibach sportlines?? ] Hotchskins springs are about the same as Gold-Line springs (1.7" Drop) Eibach Sportlines lower (1.8-2.4").
