It doesnt happen very often.Actually its only happened 2 times that i have noticed since i had it put on.But you can hear it rattling around when sitting at a stop light. The first time it didnt do anything that i know of,but this time i got home and noticed that i guess from the rattling around back there the tip melted my bumper around the tip.Anybody have any clue why its doing this? The exhaust itself isnt loose.Any help would be nice thanks guys

my exhaust does the same thing when i come to stops, its the midpipe rattling against the metal frame underneath ur car... at least mine is. im either just going to have it bent a hair so that it doesn't do that, or wrap some sort of heat resistant piece of something soft spineyes around the pipe where it hits it. make sense? or no prolly not eh

if you hear rattling at idle, it might be your cat. have a muffler shop take a look at it

right now my exhaust sits right up against my bumper as well and it hasn't melted anything, the rattling is not from it hitting the bumper im pretty sure, i think its under the car about the very center of ur car. turn it on, let it run idle and look under it, i think you might be able to see it actually hitting the metal underside of ur car, just check that out.

try having someone rev you car while you look underneath maybe you'll see something ... as for the hitting of the bumper you can do what I did and use two thick hard plastic discs and put then into the rear hanger so it won't allow it to flex as much.
