I hate to be the one to break it to you man, but that is one of the more quieter exhausts. Its not a loud one.

I have a Greddy Evo...sorry man but I have had it on for a little over a month now and it gets a little louder but not much- I just installed an Injen CAI last weekend and it made the exhaust louder- (But its one of the quieter exhausts, I didnt know either! )
Some of the ugliest things took the longest time to make And some of the easiest habits are the hardest one's to break!!!

I'll never understand the point of a loud exhaust... Wouldn't you rather have a loud engine that was making you go down the road FASTER, instead of LOUDER?
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation To know even one life has breathed easier This is to have succeeded.

Do those silencers for some exhaust systems affect performance?

yes they minimize hp and torque gains made by the exhaust itself.
