Hey gang, what do you all think of this alarm? I was told by the dealer my Celi had an alarm and that they *didnt have the remote on site*. I'll let your imagination finish that story. Are alarms easilly DIY installed or would I be better off to take it to a shop? How much do they usually charge just for installs if you already have the alarm?

Alarms should be left to pros, unless you are pretty experienced with that kind of thing. grin

I don't know about that alarm. Try the Valet 554R.

I wouldn't bother with that one. Look at the price... you get what you pay for. I've been installing alarms profesionally for 3 years. Save your money and get a Viper. IMHO these are the best units out there.

As far as install its not bad if you have some knowledge like MICABLUE said. The celicas are pretty easy as far as wiring goes. If not take it to shop...

Sooo, where do i get the wiring diagrams? I have a multimeter, but I'd rather not splice and probe everything under the sun if I don't have to.
Thanks.
