Hey guys. Do you think these rims will be better in 17s or 18s. The picture shows the rims in 18s.

17's...especially if there are a lot of potholes like there are here in lovely pennsylvania! more rubber equal longer rim, tire, suspension life...and 17's still look sweeet

one thing to take into considerration. multipiece rims look smaller (rims where the 'spokes' are in the 'middle' of the rim, instead of on the outside) a multipiece 18" rim looks more like a regular 17". so..if you are going multipiece, i'd definately recommened getting 18s because of this. (because getting multipiece 17s will look more like regular 16s). its obviously just an optical illusion...but looks are what wheels are all about for the most part (sometimes they're also about weight)

don't go over 17", if you do you will feel like you are riding along in a Little Red Flyer Wagon down the street because your side wall is so small, 16 is the said (by magazines) to be the best mix, because you don't lose all of the cushion that the side wall provide nor do you have all of the play that the side wall causes, but hey like i've said befor it's your car [/color]

I just got 17's myself and they are perfect so far...where i live 18's wouldn't work for me...i have a tight space to turn in and out of and 17's are almost too much. And as much as i would like 18's or 19's, I need my car for everyday use.

I found the rims off tirerack.com
The rims are Kazera KZ-S and run for about $130 for a 17 and $150 for 18.

18s are the way to go. They perform good and look even better. Just make sure you get the right wheel that looks good.
