i know a few people that have this...they said that they had to disable some type of sensor or something to allow them to start the car without pressing in the clutch. i talked to a guy at a shop and said he wouldnt do it. but he told me that if i were to do it...he would install it because then he wouldnt be linked to disabling that thing. my question is has anyone done this or know how??? thanks in advance.

It is possible, but a lot of alarm shops might not do it because it may make the car a life threat because if one forgets to leave their car in gear, or forget the handbrake, the car can just drive off. If done professionaly, you might have to sign a contract saying that only you would be responsible if something were to happen with remote start on manual. Otherwise, it is possible! grin

Hope i didn't change your mind!!! LOL grin

rolleyes ummm... i think my BS alarm would go off on the remote parking lot races, because the car does jump forward but only a meter or so, because you kill the car when it's left in gear when you start it without having the cluch in or in nutural

I'm not sure but i think you can just unclip the wire from the switch and then just complete the circuit, I'd try to just stick a small section of wire in the clip to complete it and just try driving down your street or something

oh and here is one thing that wasn't mentioned on that thread, with this kit you have to park your car and leave it running, get out, then kill the engine via remote in order to start it so all this jumping forward can't happen because it has to be able to be parked in nuetral in order to kill it if you not in the car
