It's possible, but you'll have to fabricate your own seat rails, which means a lot of time & effort has to be spent on getting it right. Why do you wanna lower it? Why not just use the knob on the left side & lower the sit like that?

I have been using that. Was just curious if lowering the seats was possible without a lot of trouble. Fabricating custom seat rails seems like more trouble than I'm willing to work with right now. Unless I grow a few feet in height sometime soon tongue

i don't even think my seat adjusts up or down...in any case my seat is only about 2 inches above the floor. any lower and i'd practically be sitting on the floor.

another alternative would be to buy a thinner racing seat...serves practically the same purpose as lowering your seat with a lot less work (although not cheap..and most of the time you have to buy specific brackets & sliders for a new seat)

I think the problem is that this person is too short, versus too tall. Maybe seeing over the steering wheel is a problem. My girlfriend has that same problem whenever she drives my car. I think the Celica is better suited for taller drivers, even though it is a small car.

The stock seats do sit about 2 inches from the ground...i put in aftermarket seats and i have very minimal head clearance now...i gotta make some new brackets sometime thumbsup

But ur question about the stock seats...NO...almost impossible
