So if:
AEM for low end power Injen for high end power
Where dose K&N fall?
Anyone seen a dyno comparison?
I've heard K&N also makes a cold air system that can switch between being a CAI or a SR.

When I did an application search on AEM's site for V2 I got the following message: AEM does not currently have this product for your application. http://www.aempower.com/product_intake.asp

That is a great general product description, which can also be found on AEM's site, but where dose it say they make one specifically for the Celica?

I dont think the v2 is out for the celica since the gen 2 hasnt even been out that long ======================================= http://www.ameritech.net/users/trdcelica/engine.htm^^^ I wonder why he didnt post graphs of the trial header with his mods he should be around 14.1 - 13's and IMO the single best mod for the gts would be pfc not Intake.

yea TPR dynoed better than AEM and Injen and its cheaper too...only 150 + shipping, comes ceramic coated in anodized blue, red, chrome and aluminum colors and they also do custom colors for 10$ more. It comes in a two piece so you can switch from CAI to short ram with ease. Theres a whole write up on New Celica and Team Celica Performance forums with dyno's, pics, videos, and timeslips. 15whp over injen at 6300 RPM. about 13 over AEM at 6300. You can pm me for details.

What's the best shortram Intake ? since I live in holland.. and I dont want to get to much water in my engine The "Best" Intake is the one that dose what you want it to. The major Celica Sri's that I know of are made by: Blitz Injen K&N Rod Millen Each has it's own strengths and weaknesses. Personally I don't think you would go wrong with any one of them. At the moment I have an Injen CAI and I think it works great, but this summer I plan to get an AEM CAI just to experience first hand the difference and make my own decision which one is best for where and how I drive. Come the winter Id like to try an SRI or go back to stock. Have fun with it.

ebay Intakes copy the AEM cause they make the most power, look at a injen dyno and you will see that you actually loose lots of torque down low vs. stock.

How about this? Why not just go with the AEM since it is low end and not go Injen since it is high end, considering like for me for example, i got a STOCK GTS and i am sure everyone knows that the GTS Land Lift kicks in about 6000 rpms so your high end torque is already built in from toyota. Basically my point is for the GTS people go with AEM for the low end torqe. And the GT people go with INJEN? sound logical enough or am i just an idiot hehe?!?!

^^Exactly. AEM works better for a GTS,because it's power comes in later. Since the GT's power comes in lower, get Injen to get more up top.

The aem's power comes in down low, up top its gains are minimal (like 5 HP) compared to TPR and Injen that gains 7-8HP up top

Not everyone reads every thread Saddy, educating people is the best way to get the point across to everyone, even if its said a few times. Hell, I see ad's for the same product in the same magazine 2 or 3 times. No need to get offended by it.

I have had The AEM cai, the Injen, and now i have the TPR, easy c Intake.
TPR has the BEST gains! its dyno proven. And can convert to a short ram. Also it costs less and LOOKS AWESOME! No bogging and NO CEL, because of the FINS. Your a fool to buy any other Intake. if you do have fun with your CEL, I am just glad its gone... for good.

CARB only counts in California. theres 49 other states not to mention ive had about 20 % of my orders from California alone, so I don't think THAT many people mind. But you are correct, it isn't CARB approved.
