I might be gettin a Turbo for my -00 gt celica...i am gettting it for maddddddd cheap so i figured pounce on it..wat do i have to do to my engine for the Turbo to be successful n stuff..??

Do lots and lots of homework on Turbos... What kind of Turbo and i hope someone else is installing it for you

if you run at 6-7 psi your internals will hold up, any higher than that i would look into valves, pistons and connecting rods. also, look into the apex-i power FC

give us details on the Turbo and then it could be a lot easier to help you because i think some Turbos require mods and some wont, so...just let us have some info and im sure someone on EC will be able to give you more details on that

Im not sure what kind yet but i will find out and i will pay probably only a couple hundred...also lets say i dont get it..what engine work can i do to make my car faster??..im thinkin hotshot headers?

u can't do headers and Turbo man...like i said DO UR HOMEWORK...search the site there are TONS of Turbo threads

you do know just cause the Turbo itself is only a couple hundred you'll need a whole kit fabricated around it you wont find a full Turbo kit including piping, management, IC for a few hundred $$. I suggest you go to www.staffordfabrication.com [ staffordfabrication.com] and look at their setup. then compare it to this too good to be true (which it prolly isnt true) deal of yours good luck anyways! and I really hope you have someone who knows what they are doing install it.

My lugnuts require more torque than my Honda produces.

i no a Turbo and a header dont go...i said what if i DONT GET A Turbo..what do you recommend is a good upgrade? i said..maybe headers...read what i put out properly next time..

yep your right itll cost you over a grand just for a custom exhaust manifold .. and piping well thats for some quality work... and you still need to buy a lot more things ...like trog said do your hw
