Ok i have a 2000 Celica GTS and i have been driving around and i noticed that when i stop and have my car idling while i run into my house. I come back out and i hear BOOOM BOOOM BOOM and it is like an echo from my door handle. Like it happens when the volume is turned up. So if it is something with the stock audio components can you guys refer and audio parts i can buy for my soon to come up birthday. I am getting a new set of rims too so i wanna keep this below lets say... $250 (USD)
how did you glue it because i got that problem with my system in. did you just stick the head of the glue bottle in the crack from the outside of the car or what?

if you still have the 3way speakers from the front door i would like to buy them from you. let me know. btw my car has the same problem too but what the heck.

Nothing you can do about it by changing the speakers, it's the loose doorhandle.
Can't use dynamat, because the rolled down window will still transfer the vibration.
Check the TSB section for a .PDF file documenting a fix. I did it, and it still rattles.
So, I glued the door handle to the car using a 2500 per sq. cm epoxy.
I have the same problem.. and I even haven't add an amplifier or new speakers, just a 52 watts xplod... That's why I'm afraid to install a "big" system... or even subwoofer...
Dynamat brotha. I'm also not sure, when you say audio parts are you talking about shit to make the rattling go away or do you want new speakers etc? Cause if you want new speakers, you aren't really gunna be able to get a nice set that will stop the rattling for under $250. Some higher priced speakers don't cause as much rattling.
I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I have a Kenwood 50x4 Deck, and 2 10" Alpine Type-E Subs being pushed by a 800-watt Kenwood amp, my door handle doesn't "echo".
^It all depends on the sound output the deck/speakers/subs put out. Some decks put out lower frequencies which cause distortion and rattling a lot more than higher frequencies will. My eclipse cuts out most distorting frequencies so the sound is clear and rattling is minimized. You may also be able to minimize the rattling slightly by adjusting the sound settings on your deck. But it all depends. Some set-ups are more prone than others, some cars are more prone than others. Dynamat always works though.
lol, ok i am done with the system, im gonna add a kit so no more system, but when i drive and i am just cruisin people can hear my door handles rattle from outside, inside you cant hear it, but i heard DYNAMAT will fix that up
don't have that problem here..the only time i do have it is when i put some cd case on the door's pocket and turn up the vol. otherwise it never rattle...good luck with the rattling..dunno what you can do about it..is there anyway to tighten any bolts (if that's what it use to held the door handle in) or anything???
