I just installed an optima 34/78 yellow top battery and dynamat extreme. Thought i would just give a review: Optima- Very good. Noticed and immediate difference in the sound and start up. Starts right up with not sputterin and stereo is noticable louder. A negative is that it is to big for the stock battery tray. Also i have the APR strut bar and it is no short to use teh battery tie down. (if anyone has suggestions im listening)
Dynamat extreme: I bought the bulk pack with 36 sq. feet of matting. I really concentrated on the trunk with my subs. It is much louder now. Installation was pretty simple just cut and spread on but it began to wear on me just because it can be time consuming. I HIGHLY recommend gloves. I have atleast 25 lil paper type cuts on my hands. You dont feel them as it happening but then i looked at my hand and realized it was gushing blood. I have much more BOOM and it did help rattles but expect a few to remain.
Overall it was two very good mods and great for the sound guys out there.

Dude i totally know what you are talking about! I was installin dynamat myself...looked at my hands...HOLY! So many cuts! It sucks.
yeah, I've got the Optima yellow as well... I plan on modifying the tray to fit. what have you done to enable the battery to seat correctly?
right now i just have a wood block acting as a spacer between the batter and ie down. I would like to find something more sturdy and better looking. How are you gonna mod hte tray?
^ width seems fine, only length is a problem - so I'll most likely dremel out one edge and fabricate a new lip a little farther out to let the battery sit level
I got the yellow top too.. what I did was cut the holding screws from the bottom and bent it again so that it fastens the battery... As far as Performance goes, i wasnt too satisfied w\ it. but id say it was well worth my $$. I was expecting more from it. I start to get glitches running my sound system 2 screens and the x-box. (w\ the car on..)
I think it was about 150. I got it from sounddomain.com They are an GREAT site. Everything came in just a few days and they sent all the tracking numbers and everything right away.
