I got the Clifford RS2.5X. It has the 2way technology with the little keychain deal that shows your car on it. It uses a better chip then the viper does, and it uses only 1 were as the viper uses 2 and if it gets dropped your focked. I love mine, I dont have start because I have a 6 speed. I got mine for $160 and install for free (you will never find this deal) i got some hookups Retails for like $399 at bestbuy

clifford has keylesss entry, start, two way alarm, trunk release, and you can get like a modual to roll down your windows or things like that if you want.
Install takes like 4 hours and may cost up to like $150 or so.

If you bang your fist on my car, it can go off. Also, with the 2way remote, when your alarm is going off, your remote will either vibrate or beep, you set what you want. And it defintialy has a panic button. The sound when you lock and unlock is sweet, BTW

How about the Viper 791 XV. I hear it's a nice alarm. Anyone have it? How good is it compared to others?

How about the Viper 791 XV. I hear it's a nice alarm. Anyone have it? How good is it compared to others? Same thing as Clifford Clifford uses 1 chip in the remote, where viper uses 2. Clifford is less pron to breaking when its dropped! We sell Viper at Circuit City (where i work now) and my previous job (best buy) has the clifford. I still got the hookups there. RS2.5X doesn't have start, but has everything else RS3.5X has start with everything else http://www.clifford.com/matrix/responder/default.asp
