I need some opinions, thats why this post is on all the celica forums.
OK, i've been wanting a Kaminari kit for a long time and yesterday I finally got one for a really really good price. I love the rear bumper and I'm 80% sure I want the side skirts in place of the TRD ones, but I'm only about 30% sure I want to replace the TRD front bumper with the kaminari.

What do you guys think? I've been lookin at spedfreq's car and I think the front bumper resembles a stock bumper a little too much. What would most of you do? Leave the TRD front with the rest kaminari? Or Replace it with the kaminari?

i would go with the kaminari front bumper. It looks more sleek, better than the TRD I think.

Complete Kaminari. I think the Kaminari is one of the cleanest kits out there.

That what I was thinking when I got my Kaminari. I thought the front was going to look to stock, too.

But after I got it put on, it doesn't...not even close.

I say go for the kaminari. thumbsup

Kaminari is tight. TRD kit you can just get at a dealer, so more people have them. Rare is good!

Both kits look tight (esp. in black) but ever since the "Action Package" came out it cheapened the TRD kit. Too many people have it, and for that reason I wouldn't buy it.

Definitely go with Kam front. I hate mix-n-match kits. Besides, the kam skirt and rear sit lower than the TRD front. It would look weird.

I've never been too hot on the Kam front. I like the blitz. But my all time fav is the rear bumper and skirts from the kam kit. Any way. Id go with the Kam front considering the choices.

Hey thanks everyone, I had a lot of people saying stick with the TRD. This helps my opinion a lot.

I think the TRD is a hot front bumper. If you want to have an aggressive clean look, go TRD with kaminari sides and rear. If you just want full clean kit, go with kaminari. Look at ricepowered's sig, he has full kaminari. But I think the TRD looks much hotter when it doesn't have the toyota emblem on the front grille and when the car is lowered, it makes it appear much better.

I'm in the same debate. Thinkin about getting the kaminari front and back and r2 sides. Kaminari sides stick out too much..Thats just my taste..

3 questions:

1) does anyone have pics of the kaminari kit in red?

2) how much would i be looking at for painting and installation at my dealer? at a bodyshop?

3) how much is the shipping typically from the ECelica store for a bodykit?
