Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior check engine problems

I've been having problems with my check engine light for about a year now. Have had my car into the dealership like seven times and they just seem to temporarally fix what ever is wrong. Lately the Check Engine Light will come on for a couple days and then go off for a couple. I noticed that when the light is on I experience a lot of white emmisions comming out and they are not there when the light goes off. I also have a rougher Idile when the light is on, I have an auto and it started to die when I was at stop light the other day. Anyone ever experience anything simular.

is the smoke thats coming out white or does it have a blue tinge to it as well?
