i plan buying a NX wet nos kit in the near future, i was wondering if there was any way to get a 75 shot to work safely on my 2000 gt 5spd.

I think 75 shot is a bit risky.

Goddamnit NITROUS!!! cry That would be combining an NX and NOS (Nitrous Oxide Systems) kit.

You could probably do a 75 shot, if you used it very little, and picked up some lower comp. pistons or something. They sell them here: www.monkeywrenchracing.com [monkeywrenchracing.com]

50 shot would be uch safer.

NOS is a brand. NX is a brand. So saying an NX NOS kit is redundant. It's actually called nitrous oxide, or nitrous. The word NOS has a whole ricer feel to it because of Fast and the Furious

Funny that's why I don't really like it. Well the cars themselves maybe, but what they do to them... puke

you can safely run a 75 shot... all you need is a PFC to retart your timing a little bit and richen the mixture.

a good nitrous setup will cost you between 800 and 1000 installed...

a PFC with tuning will cost you about 1200 unless you tune it yourself...

Really funny thread grin grin

Is it safe??

Anything you change on your car can be unsafe and WILL reduce the life of your car. Just save enough money to replace or fix your engine when it is needed after you use a 75 shot an unknown number of times.

as for nitrous on a GT 5speed i would get a 50 shot. its a big difference in power, and you dont run much of any risk of hurting your motor

So I am sorry if I stepped on some toes but lets drop this and try to keep your remarks to yourself huh?
