ok i got my sportlines (1.8 front, 2.4 rear) so after i install these bad boys on.. what else do i need to do? only the rear is the one that gets negative camber right? what about the front does it get screwed up also? i bought a eibach alignment kit with the springs.. so are these 2 all i need to make my car lowered and have regular camber?

this is what it says on that webpage..

"After the installation of either an Eibach Pro-Kit or Sportline spring set, a vehicle's alignment should always be checked. Once lowered, a wheel's camber may become "increasingly negative", meaning the top of the tire is angled inward (toward the center of the vehicle). While some "negative" camber aids in improving traction and road adhesion, too much can result in peculiar handling and accelerated tire wear.

Eibach offers a complete range of alignment kits which offer a simple, affordable solution to adjust "negative camber". These alignment kits not only assist in adjusting a vehicle's camber back to factory specifications but they also allow the experienced chassis tuner to utilize the increased adjustment range to "dial-in" a Performance alignment that uses negative camber to maximize a chassis' potential. Turn-in becomes more precise and handling increasingly crisp and predictable. you dont need that. you don't need a hotchkis camber kit. you dont need struts. you will need an alignment if you want to make your tires last as long as possible.

You DO need the camber links in the rear. The stock adjustmenst arent enough to correct the negative camber. The bolts from Eibach ARE enough to correct the front camber, but to truley align the rear, the Hotchkis links are the only solution. PS-I know money is sometimes an issue, but you shoud have waited to have the new shocks installed when you had the springs put on because you are gonna have to pay to have them installed and aligned again.

FYI...celica has struts, not shocks. why dont you just install it yourself?

i have the sportlines on with agx shocks and right now, i can see a bit of my wheels slanting from the rear. Maybe it's just me but once i install my hotchiks rear links, ill get it aligned so ill be stress free!

Not true. I have Sportline and my shop was able to align the camber in the front and rear without camber kit.

i have those exact same camber adjustment kits from eibach...3 import shops can't do anything about it, 2 tire shops dunno what to do with it...BUT i looked at Ecelicas instructions for do-it-urself alignment, it gave me a good idea where to replace it...but i don't know where to put it top or bottom..so yea when i get new tires i'll be gettin those in somewhere.

True, the camber kit is just another useless mod that you don't need to buy. The factory parts can be used to the same effect.

ok so lets say i get the tanabe coilovers and just that. if i drop it and buy this eibach camber kit i will correct everything i need? cause i keep hearing "you need the full kit or else you will wear your tires" and i understand i would need to readadjust this if i were to change my ride height but is this a possible solution to spending $400 for coil overs and this eibach negative camber adjustment? cause the full kit is like $1,200 and i dun have the money for that this very second. just looking for options thanx

so..u are sayin a camber kit is useless? and that an alignment is all you need? wouldn't ur wheels get back to normal after an alignment?(negative camber) that's what a camber kit is for to make the camber angles permanent to ur setting..right? if yes, that means some people would like to have camber kits.

the shop i went to were able to adjust

my cambers to the correct settings thumbsup

I'm totally loving the negative camber on my rear tires (40mm drop). think i'll keep it that way. and put the rear tires up front next year. the wear will be on the inside anyways, so the dumbass that buys the car when I sell it can get new 19 inch 235/35 tires himself. or is that just mean? hehe
