People in the know will think your car is really gay. Might as well add some neon washer lights and a neon liscence plate while you're at it. Debadged would be clean, and I agree with a VVT-T decal.

We're worked up because ALL of us who own Celica's look like ricers after people do crap like that. Plus, it makes those of us who actually PAID for a GTS look bad.

just debage your car and move on with life, or leave the GT symbol on there

he's a new member give him some slack rofl

and somebody races you and beats you their gonna go around talking more fucking shit about the celica, saying that they beat the GTS. everybody ive ever talked to (besides like 2) that arnt friends with me, and dont know my car think that the celica is fucking slow as fuck, and its because of people like you...fucking dumbass.

why not sell you car, buy an auto civic DX, and with all the money you get from doing that you buy lots and lots of emblems. you can get a GTS emblem and put it on your civic, a GTR emblem, a mustang GT, or mustang cobra emblem, but for the fucking sake of god DONT FUCKING PUT A GTS EMLBEM ON YOUR AUTO GT

IM SICK OF PEOPLE SAYING THAT ALL CELICA OWNERS ARE RICERS angry angry angry

^^^ eek whoaaa now, chill it thumbsup

anyway, my 2 cents: the auto gts are slow anyway. manual gts can take an auto gts by over 2 secs in the 1/4th...soooo, even having a 'real' gts doenst mean you are fast.

my 4 cents: even the manual gts celicas are slow. i have one myself..and while they are faster than most things on the road and while they are fast for a 4 cylinder..the fact is that most actual sports cars can beat any type of celica.

No difference between euro gt and gts except for the engine, tach (8200 redline)and the little T-Sport badge on the back of the car. The T-sport has a option of choosing the interior trim color (blue, red or black) while the normal (GT) celica has only one interior color (black).

But why wrong badge something? rofl

Just take all the badges off. thumbsup

I hope you've learnt a lot from this thread bojoe. Don't misbadge your car, debadge it. It'll look a lot cleaner and better imo. I have a GT and I'm not ashamed of it in the least. Even if I had a GTS, it would be debadged so that's the way to go. DEBADGE, don't MISREPRESENT.

This thread has inspired me.

I put a set of Corvette flags on my front bumper today. Maybe chicks will think I'm driving a $50k car and give me some.

I'm 20.

Of course I don't expect a girl to go out with me just because I own a GTS, but I'm sure it will help. Everything adds up. If a girl is borderline in deciding if she wants to date me, owning a GTS might just sway her to the yes side.

No it wont...thats the dumbest logic ever. You do not want a girl that, based on your car, went out with you.

You must be really insecure about yourself, to have to do that.

I have a few friends that are not considered 'hot', yet they have hot girlfriends, because of their personality...not what they drive.

Hell, even my best friend, his first vehicle was a 50's ford truck. Yet, he had very attractive girlfriends, and it WASNT because he put 'GT-R GTS Type R Cobra AR-15' all over. :thumbsdow

Also, we have quite a few girls on ecelica.

Ask any of them if they would date a guy if he had a GT, and not a GTS. Something tells me they will say 'it dont matter if you have a dodge neon, if the we liked you for you, thats all that matters...not what you drive'.

NOTE TO YOU: GIRLS THAT GO OUT YOU FOR WHAT CAR YOU HAVE, DONT WANT YOU...THEY WANT WHAT YOU CAN GIVE THEM.

I might not know as much about cars as you, but I'm sure I know a lot more than you in other things. I can play the guitar really well (my band performed in front of 3,000 people) and I'm also a junior at one of the best universities in America majoring in electrical engineering. Do you know how much EE majors make out of college? over 50K a year starting. So in like 5 years I'll be driving an M3, while you'll still be driving your celica.

You also said girls don't care about money, but common you know thats not true. Look at any rich guy, no matter how boring or ugly he might be, he usually has the hottest wife ever. For guys the most important thing in a girl is looks, but girls say the most important quality in guys is personality. And by personality they mean how much bling bling he has.

Sorry but you are wrong. I have been with my bf for 4 years and currently, I make more money than he does. He is also about a year older than I am. So no, not all girls are after money. LMAO at your brain mentality.

this guy is either pulling everyone's chain or seriously inept... thumbsdown

I'm sure even an adolescent understands that financial security can only be beneficial toward one's future, however I make it a policy to never let my dates know I am well off until we're much further in the relationship. Take it from someone who's been around the block a few times - women who are interested in you for your money are shallow and usually bereft of any charm or personality. Sure they may look stunning, however that gets old very quickly. Personally, I prefer someone more genuine with intelligence and looks. Luckily, my fiance and I are both physicians and she fits my criteria nicely - wink

Just remember this and you'll seem wise beyond your years:

- being handsome attracts her
- charm keeps her interested
- personality wins her over

This thread is hopeless...you came to us and wont except the answers.

When you get your 'm3', would you like to see ricers going around in a non m3 with badges of the m3 on? Knowing full well that some people will not know the difference, and he is getting the same rep as you that paid a lot more money for your real m3?

I know how much EE people make, I took 3 years of electronics technology in a tech school...I graduated 2nd in my class...I also have high honors in math and electrical theory...

Yes, some girls are gold diggers, you still havent answered my question asking if you really wanted a girl that wanted you for what you have (or say you have) and not you? Sure you will get some ass...but who cares? I have got ass from a few hotties and I dont even have a celica!

What car would they put the m3 badge on? a 330ci? that car is still 35k or so and it looks different. If they put the badge on their civics I could get careless since everyone will know that its not an m3.

Don't compare an EE major from a community college/devry type school to an EE major from UC Berkeley (where I go). They are worlds apart.

they'll use me for my car and I'll use them for their ass. Seems fair to me.

So you can't get ass without a car? Man you suck. I'll actually let you in on my secret for chicks. Now don't go spreadin it around, or everyone will be doin it. See, if you've got what I like to call "a personality", the chicks go friggin wild. It's true, dunno why. Girls are crazy that way, pickin personality over money.

Dude, just goto any forum on the internet related with cars. Goto a mustang forum, say you have a mustang V6, and you want to put GT or cobra badges on. Goto another celica site, and say you have a GT and want to put GTS badges on. Goto any wrx forum, say you have a wrx, but you want to put STI badges on. You will get the same answer, 'you are a ricer, its stupid to badge your car as something its not'. To some people, they cant tell the difference. To the people that can, it pisses them off.

And I never said that my schooling was better than yours, i was just saying i had EE schooling as well...geeze.

Let's just end it...do whatever you want. Just remember, that anyone that see's this, and knows the difference will think your totally stupid for doing so, and also thing celica owners are ricers. And you will prolly get herpies, because she sleeps around with people just for the money. :happywink

So in like 5 years I'll be driving an M3, while you'll still be driving your celica.
ok this post better not be towards me...you dare mock me when i already graduated college with a business computer major??? earning as much money as that? my g/f earns more money than me she makes about $60 grand a year she doesnt care what i drive, in my life i have owned diffrent cars, top of the line accord, top of the line camry and now i "chose" to own a celica. i bet most people here can afford an m3 rite away but they choose not to. yeah i might own a celica now but with the money i have invested on it i bet its probably worth the same as the m3 that you dont have and probably wont get. i feel sorry for you you think your gonna be better than anyone here when in fact evryone here is already better than you.
you say you can play the guitar? well i can play keyboards, drum, work a dj turntable and yes i can play the guitar too. i see no point in your comment. playing in front of 3000 people does not make you a great guitar player. my dads band play in front of more people than that every weekend rolleyes
SO STFU RICER BOY GO BACK TO STUDYING AND EARN YOUR DIPLOMA SO YOU CAN GET YOUR M3!!!! mad mad

I agree, my teacher along with anyone I talk to in the electonics field said the reason they picked EE was because they were lazy, and its very easy. Mind you I have a friend that does digital electronics for HP and and one that works for Intel, along with some that do industrial electronics for many tool & die companies around here. So it just goes to show that it doesnt take a UC berkley diploma to get great paying jobs in the EE field. happywink
