I'm lookin into Turbo set ups and I came across the "c2" kit... but I cant find ANY info on it, so can one of you point me in the direction of the C2 webpage? or where I can find out alittle bit more info?
for as major of an engine mod as that is, and as expensive as i'm sure it is... they sure don't have a lot of information about it on their website. So far stafford fabrications is still the company that's going to get my business... unless i learn a lot more about the c2 kit... and it's significant;y cheaper than the SF kit...
teh SF kit is the best kit for both GT and GTS not just GT
don't forget it's like the only kit that has dynos. i don't understand how people can even consider buying the DA or C2 one without some proof of Performance!
Since you're looking for information on the C2 kit, I can provide you with some.
I have the stage 2 kit installed and i'm really happy with it. I've been driving with this setup for about 6 months now. I had c2gas his old setup copied, which he used for almost a year already. After more research and development, c2gas changed the diameter on the piping to create even more power in the higher rpm's.
c2gas had his car dyno'd just recently and he pushed 260whp on 13PSI. He needs to scan the dyno still, to show you guys some results. 260whp is stage 2.
I'm going to dyno my car soon as well, as soon if I get my new air filter for even more power. I have an electronical boostcontroller, so I'll make a dyno of 6PSI(stage 1) as well.
If you need any more info, please ask specific questions.
P.S. I raced a BMW M3 a couple of days ago. It was a tie. I expect to be able to beat a M3 once I get my new air filter. That's about 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds. Never dragraced before, so I don't know 1/4mile time X(
im pretty sure that the XS kit for the gts put out 10 more ft/lbs torque at the same horsepower and rpm range, so im pretty sure thats better
the SF kit uses stock ECU. this way it works with ANY year celica.
we added the power fc like XS uses and we put down 280 whp and 204 wtq with only a lil tuning on the pfc stock clutch, stock internals. with the alcohol injection and a few other goodies it will put down some great power.

SF kits are the only ones I like right now.
Holy CRAP 280 whp! i know what kit i'm getting... was that on a GT? or GTS?
gts. keep in mind that was not the base kit. it was the base kit + power fc and tuning. the base kit is great for noobs. and can be expanded depending on what you wanna do. Thats why I like it so much.
are sf Turbo kits smog legal?? are on Turbo kits smog legal for the gt, i want to pass smog and get Performance, i dont want to be left to get a trd supercharger!
well... i'm buying my Turbo on friday... not the kit, just the Turbo... and then i'm going to have SF fit it to their kit later this summer
Bro make sure you consult SF on the type and trim Turbo you're getting. He has the most knowledge as to what will work best with the 1zz/2zz for boost.
i'm thinking i might have to buy the SF kit one piece at a time! I don't really want to do it that way... but that's the nature of the beast when you only make $600/ month
I am, however, applying for a new job today that will pay me almost $2k per month. I'm fairly certain that i''ll get it, because I have all of the qualifications that the company is asking for, and more that they didn't ask for, but appreciate in their line of work. Also, I have on my side, the fact that not too many people in my town have the qualifications... <crosses fingers> so, i might be able to afford to buy it all at once.

Why not just buy the SF manifold, and then get the rest of the parts on your own. The manifold is the only really tough thing to do, but charge piping and a downpipe can be fabbed by almost any Performance shop. Since you already have a Turbo (what'd you get btw) just buy the SF manifold and do your own thing from there. If you can do it yourself, you'll save a lot of money when it's all said and done.
My lugnuts require more torque than my Honda produces.
haha doesnt mean the cops out here wont ticket you for it. they ticket people for trd exhaust. they also ticket for your headlight sbeing too close to the ground. my teamates head lights sit 1/4" lower then mine and he got a ticket for headlights too low to the ground. how retarded is that. lol
CA is not a mod friendly state even though everyone and their grandmother mods something on their car. lol

I'm getting a Garret t-3. The reason i don't really want to do my own thing, is that there aren't any good Performance shops in my town that I will take my car to. It would be MUCH easier for me to buy a pre-fabbed kit, and then install it myself.

You think getting a shop to start from scratch on piping is cheap? If this was the case, more people would put together Turbo kits.

How much is custom piping (since you obviously must know). More people don't do custom Turbo kits because they either don't have the know-how or they have enough money to just drop $4000 at one time. Custom kits are cheaper. I gaurantee mine comes out less than $3000. How much is SF, $3500?...plus installation.
