Have a local shop that specializes in importing parts, or a shop that is big enough to be able to order parts for you upon request. Also, if your lucky enough sometimes there are Group Buys on JDM parts on here. Just gotta keep your eyes open . BTW what part are you looking for?

best way is to have a friend who travels back-and-forth on business and can import them for you - if we were all so lucky...

best way is to have a friend who travels back-and-forth on business and can import them for you - if we were all so lucky... it's still a bit harder than that, you have to locate the parts and find a way to get that part to you friend. all the cities are pretty far from each other like Osaka is 2 hours away from tokyo. then you have to have the friend bring the part on the plane. Most car parts are pretty big, you'll be lucky if they don't chanrge you for bringing on th e extra luggage. even then JDM parts from Japan are usually expensinve.
