hey guys i wanted to paint my center console, but what paint and gloss do i use, if you can post pictures of em and stuff that would be great, also what about all the pictures for the air conditioners and stuff, does anyone know where i can get overlays or something to put over after i paint it so its still there after painting?
hes asking the type of paint to use brand name specifically the guide only mentions what type not brand but to answer your question either plasti-kote or dupli-color or testors model paint

I had mine painted dark grape testors and had testors clear coat which had a great finish. When I got my TRD steering wheel sticker it was a lighter purple so I repainted all my interior a plasti-kote purple to match it and the paint clumps very easily. Lots more sanding needed and I still can't get it as nice as the testors. Go with th testors
ya testors is great thats wut i use..i posted a while back that i can paint any interior plastic and still do...just tell me wut pieces ill give you a price and my addy and ull have it back nice and painted within a week all together
well i wanted all of the center console, but i also wanted to know where to get those ac vent sticker cover picture thingys, well just yeah pm me, im not worried bout painting it though, just the ac covers, thankx

i figured plasti-kote sux i found out today that it seems like a pep boys brand sorry for a bad suggestion i just put that on because ive seen people used that
I put on the AC stickers & I didn't like how it looked, so I threw them away. IMO it looks cleaner if you leave it plain, plus you should already know what the knob settings are.

true but if you plan on selling the car later you should keep it so the next person won't toast in the summa or freeze his ass in the winter
