Ok guys had this car for over a year and a half and just got my first CEL. I take extremely good care of my car and checked all the fluids, oils, and everything is fine under the engine. I do have an Injen Intake so i thought it may have rubbed down like some of the others so I'm about to go check it out.

But heres what happens... I cut my car on and at idle it just shakes a little harder than normal and I have an auto (happens even with the oil hot). Take off sounds normal and everything seems the same except for this. I just hit 47000 miles on the 2000 gts so can anyone help me out here? Ive checked everything I know. confused and have a friend who can run a dianostic (sp) if I need it.

did CEL only apeared after you had installed CAI?
did you follow the exact install procedures for you CAI? (ie: disconnect the battery)

if you did, basically, the computer in the car doesn't recognize the new setup because of the mod (CAI) you added.
my friend, who is a mechanic for Celica says that if your CEL doesn't go away, you have to RESET the computer. You have to go to you local toyota dealership and they will reset it for you (he told me around 20-30$ canadian) and it WILL fix your CEL problem.

Alright thanks guys I think your right nothing else has seemed to work and thanks a lot for you people's help. I did disconnect the battery and have had the Intake on for at least 7000 miles before the light came on.
