Where can I purchase shift knobs for a GT Auto? The factory one is so boring...I want to change it up a little.

I would not buy a universal knob, there junk. Over time (months, maybe a year) the pins will strip and the knob will no longer fit tight. Both on my car (stick) and my brothers car (auto) we had this happen. Sparco and Isotta, so the parts where made well, just universals don't last. Just my $ .02.

Has anyone done this to their celica? Can you post pics? Was it easy to replace the shift knob on an automatic?

How about the factory O/D button? How would that work out with an aftermarket shift knob?
