Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Install in complete!

Well I just got back from the dealer and My S/C is now a part of my car!!!!!!!!!!! I got to take it around the block and onto the E-way before bringing it back to have the door and the roof replaced/repainted & WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!! even w/ the klunkin 48lbs. 19's she still moves. the lower end is 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000x better and there is almost no reason to down shift anymore from 3 to 2nd. the eway was fun, passin isnt an issue anymore, just give it some gas and she goes <-- amazing huh I didnt venture too far cas the car went in w/o a hood so I didnt wanna press my luck and run by a cop. they said that its gonna be about 4 day or so on the door and ect. cause there kinda swamped but by next tues I should have it back!!! Just thought Id share and it I get a chance I'll swing on by there again and take some pix

i was looking for either a Turbo or super charger but without a hood , im not gonna s/c. so to make a long story short what are you gonna do about your hood situation

Im messin w/ a custom setup right now but its going ho-hum, if I cant get it right w/i a week or so i have a Fiberglass/boat repair place in town that said hed set me up w/ one for $175.

It sounds like an F1/cart at higher rpm, sounds real sweet+ my exhaust is about 1 billion x louder, I might have to look into a different exhaust setup. Right now I have a 2.5 in pipe from the header back w/o the cat or res. and its LOUD!

What kind of supercharger? How much was it installed?

TRD S/C and total for the install was just over 2800

that's it? how much was the s/c itself?

ahhh thats just awsome..

I was able to pick up the S/C at dealer cost for 2100+ tax, my business partner's brother owns the dealer an then it was another 5 hrs for the install

well, I had it schd. for the 10th but Im having them repair the damage from when the car was broken into so its still pending, prolly the mon. after next
