I saw an older celica today and it said on the back Celica on the left and Turbo4WD on the right. Was this ever made or did maybe the guy just put this on his car, in which case would be lame. A stock Turbo celica would be nice, especially 4wd.

they didn't import to many of them, so it's kind of rare to see them.

it depends on the year, and trim(if trim is the word.)egs
st185 is the regular 1990 to 1993 the ones with the flip up lights.it also has a st 185h looks the same except the hood scoop goes down into the hood cause it has a water to air intercooler. then it has the st 185wrc same as the st 185h but lighter, more power and diffrent gear ratios.200 hp in the us spec to 225 in the jdm 235 in the st 185h even more in the wrc.(for that gen tuned)

then comes the st 205 which is the 6th gen (the kids around here call them "bug light celicas" all came with the 3rd gen motor. hp 245 min to 292 in the wrc tuned.

this st 205wrc is the balls to the wall celica, simple bolt ons and cranking the boost(on good gas)turns that already lively car into a 4 tire shedding beast!

no,toyota made a big blunder with that one.

but you can get it in japan still.right hand drive though.
i really dont know why everybody is going through that trouble of swapping when you can buy the car, have it changed over to left hand drive and still have change to spare.
the car will pass u.s emmisions if they test it,unless the people who conducts the test know about egr valves and can visually look and find it or lack of it,then the tests wouldnt be a problem

that would never fly in the 7th gen celicas.

you need a lot more torque to adequately push a 4wd car with any Performance in mind.

1/8th track right,
lucky,if he is stock, there are a few things he can do to improve his 1/8th time big time esp. his first and second gear, boost cut in those gears would be eliminated and the tvis system would be open(all eight ports open at luanch)
the mods are free also.alot of people see the specs of that car gt4 on paper and assume that its not that fast.
with a good driver and 3 hrs work without buying anything you can turn the car into beast!
