KW offers their VARIANT 2 kit for the celica. this features 25-60mm drop up front and 30-65mm drop on the rear. you can also adjust the rebound of the shocks!
a friend of mine has the variant 2 on his audi S2 sedan (was tuned to 380hp, now building 500hp, using it for track days etc) and it works great, and takes a hell of a beating.
oh, and if you check the english/american version of their homepage you won't find the celica listed in their program. but they have it. it's listed on the german version of the page, and it's listed in some catalogs.
seems like everyone is recommending coilovers over springs but springs are so much less, i'm always wondering if TRD springs would be good enough to hold me for winter when it comes. I've look on coilover prices and their insane!, so what yall's suggestions on springs & coilovers?
coilovers are not that expensive...you can always buy an entry level coilover like Tein's Basic and you still get the ability to raise/lower you celica, but you cant adjust the dampening.
i have the tanabe sustec pro ss coilovers and they are great. i got them from wholesalehyperformance.com for about 900.00, on sale. for me its either tanabe or tein
go with GROUND CONTROL they come with eibach springs. I guarantee youll be happy with em.
from the sounds of it this guy wants coilovers not adjustable springs.
and those things are garbage, tehy are no where near the level of a matched coilover system.
besides once you get teh new struts to go with you cheap sleeves you are almost into coilover price. not to mention coilovers have matched struts to teh spring rates. you can't get that with garbage sleeves and struts.
either get s set of springs or get REAL coilovers you get what you pay for.
