i beleive so.
question: do you actually have this kit? so few originals were made you have to be able to put out some big dollars to get it.
the replicas are certainly Fiberglass though--and usually sell for around $600.

pm isaac..he has the only authentic r2 body kit that i know of on here (i think only like 10 were produced)
