ok, new scenario for the F/I experts i'm beginning to love:

what if a GTS had longer pistons rods (i think this is what is used to increase displacement.. where the 1zz would have to be bored out)
and cast iron sleeves...

would it be as durable as a GT? what would its max psi potentially be?

You mean a stroker kit, you could probably do that, buy a stoker kit, then buy a lower compression kit, you might want to go with a bore kit as well, because the GTS pistons arent that much wider then the GT, and youll basically have nothing better or much of a difference then the GT, only thing is though is that youll still have lift, and your forgetting the fact that its all aftermarkert products to make it into anything like what the gt can handle, so you might as well have the gt, and that lift is going to hold you back with what you could put into it, but it still wont be like the GT with F/I, but it will be a lot better!!

So would I be able to put a gts turbo on a gt Celica. Because the only gt I know of it 2800 bucks
