Well I payed $150 or so for my TRD SS, and install if you could install the HS header, you can definately install this thumbsup Its really a great mod.

Also you could check out catcams cams... They're $850, a piece I believe.

heres a great way to improve you celica GT...SWAP THE ENGINE!..lol a gt can only go so far ..you know what i mean. with MONEY..and LOTS of it..anything is possible..you coul dmake a celica gt into a freaking 500 hp car..but thats unlikely to the average enthusiast..pretty much everything you listed is what most people would do to get their car maxed ...throw in a turbro..and maybe a fuel managemnent system ..and an efi nx kit and your car will be most impressive.

try lookin at mwr - monkeywrenchracing.com...they got some stuff for GTs..more than Intake header exhaust. good luck!

o and how much can a pfc help a GT? i heard its' best for the gts because of lift. gt don't have lift, so how could it give a significant boost? plus it's 900 bucks if i can remember correctly...yeeesh

i bought the Turbo from a friend (garrett t-3 ar-48... not my ideal Turbo, but it was $115... so i can't complain too much) and i'm going to buy the manifold and downpipe from stafford fabrications... and then i'm thinking about going custom with the rest of it...

If i change my mind though, i'm going to just buy the SF kit to go with my Turbo thumbsup

only thing you're missing are some sway bars.

I got my TRD sway bars from ToyoGobo (toyota dealer in NC, but they have an E-Bay store) for $319.99 shipped & then it was another $92 for the dealer to install them in 90 mins.

agreed. people always mention power but neglect suspension and better tires. sway bars, coil-overs/ or strut and sping combo, strut bars, lsd, quickshifter, plus you can do some weight reduction...aftermarket brake pads and rotors, etc.,etc... thumbsup

it just sounded like he was lookin for engine mods. if you look at his profile you can tell he's got plenty of suspension mods that would do him good.

he only has springs and strutbars...you get the most out of cornering with sways, coilovers or struts, tires, and lsd.

ive got a zex wet kit. and right now im seriously considering a 3sgte swap by the end of the summer. ive already got a shop that is willing to do the work, all ive got to do is find and engine. i was thinking of trying to find and all trac that i could get for like 4 grand and just rip the engine out of that then sell the rest of the car for parts to try to recoop some of the money.

ok gen7..i totally get u...maybe i posted too quickly and didnt bother elaborating..but basically the poitn i was making was that..its true..a celica gt can only og so far..every car has its limits..but in theory if you have an infinite ammount of money you can do anything..just like my mechanic sez...you can do ANYTHING you want..as long as you have the funds...ive seen some celica drag cars that ahve done 7.6 secs on 1/4 mile ( import tuner mag about a year ago) and im saying..(it definitly didnt have a GTS or GT engine)...
i took the thread too lightly and didnt really bother giving a legit answer..BUTT..i still stick with what i said at the end..an EF1 kit and fuel managment..thats definitly a mod that would improve Performance...

I haven't done this, but with your mods, I would look at the throttle body - the GT has a smaller throttle body than the GTS. They are not swappable, but if you get yours bored to the same size (60mm?)you could probably use a GTS throttle plate. One of the Spyder guys claims a dyno proven consistent 2hp gain just from machining the shaft that holds the throttle plate flat on a stock GT throttle body. (there is thread on NC if you search) With all your other breathing mods (intake, exhaust, haeder) I bet you would see some relativly cheap hp from some throttle body work!
