has anyone out there fixed a rim before? How much, in your opinion based on your experience in paying for yours, do you think it would cost to fix an aluminum polished lip that has curb damage. The damage is about 4 inches long and not deep at all but has made permanant scratches. I just want an estimate to see if I ovepaid. Thanks.

I fliped a U-turn in residential and hit a gutter. The damage I recieved on my chrome stockies was about an inch deep and 2 inches wide. But when I went to get it repaired they charged me for making sure the rim was still a total round rim (about 10$). Then they sanded and smoothed out the abrasion for $60 + labor.
