did it blow up via a rocket propelled grenade laucher carefully aimed through the front valence straight to your engine then it blew up?! thats my guess anyways but what happened?
I know the story...It was one of those damned terroists...They strapped a bomb on their chest and next thing you know... *BANG* the engine is blown up. You should see it on the front cover of the next issue of Star right next to the story about the boy who is half bat. Hope everybody is satisfied with my remdition.
ok so i get the car a couple weeks back, start researching gts's and what not, i go to change my lift bolts find that one is broken, bring it to the toyota dealer and they cover it under warranty, couple days go by i get a cel multiple misfire, so i add really good injector cleaner and have it shut off, couple days later get the cel back same reading i brought it to the dealer they changed the fuel injectors and cp under warranty, couple of days go by my engine starts to rattle, i thought it was the bumper or stock Intake so i replace it with aem cai, it just rattles louder. couple of days go by i get the same cel so i change spark plugs, then i get it again so i change engine coolant then i get it again!! i bring it to the dealer tell them i dont know whats going on, i told them about the rattle and the cels and they say ok call us back. i call them back and they say the cels are the worst of my problems that i have a bent valve horrible compression ect...i need a new engine. he's trying to get it authorized under warranty today i gotta call them will fill you ppl in more when he calls back
then engine isnt technically blown its just garbage i guess. i never misshifted or beat on it long enough for all that shit to happen. besides i thought those things were made for high reving, whats the point of lift if you cant use it?
Yeah, who knows if it's going to be a new engine or not. They could also just fix it. As long as there is no hole blown in the engine, they should be able to fix the internals. That's what they will probably do, and just pass it off as new.
