When i get in my car after its been sitting for a while the gauge needles point up to like 6500 RPMs and 80 MPH. I never noticed this until a few days ago. Does it mean anything or is it just like that.

this used to do that on my Fathers dodge ram, no problems ever occured..it also used to happen when he was driving and the engine was cold. After normal operating temp it was fine.

dont know but i wouldn't worry about it

i does that after you reconnect the battery... but shouldnt do it every start up

Maybe its cause i have an optima battery it functions different or that i have a blown fuse right now
