Well i ordered my Hid 8000k Conversion Kit which included ... 2X Xenon Bulbs, 2X McCulloch Ballast with harness, and all the necessary mounting hardware... As for install where did you mount your ballast to (pics will help)? Also is it a hard install on our cars or is it more of a plug and play? Will i need to remove my front bumper? ![thumbsup thumbsup](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/thumbsup.gif)

you have to remove the front bumper but not entirely...just enuff to remove the headlights...i was able to get the ballasts to mount under the headlights... good install...just remove the space [ new celica.org]

are the hids really worth it?> I think they're worth it if you live in an area with poor street lighting. If you live in the urban jungle like me, not so much. ![idunno idunno](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/idunno.gif)

It's worth it. HID is optional for Celica's in the USA. ![smile smile](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/smile.gif)

but the best output is 4100-4300k color temp HID's are nice at the right color temp but anyways it shouldn't be so hard to install your HID's Plug in play thats all.. I never had to take out my bumper and you could use velcro tape to attach the ballasts to what ever space you can find to place them to.. so they you could switch back to stock should you ever have to..(fix it ticket) ![tongue tongue](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/tongue.gif)

alright just making sure ![grin grin](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/grin.gif) thats the sad part with our stock projectors ... it's either. Performance or color I didn't know that 3 yrs back and got stuck with the 6000k kit thinking I'd get the same effect of other luxery cars..both Performance and the color, but turns out its all in the housing Post pics when you get them in ![thumbsup thumbsup](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/thumbsup.gif) o and don't forget about changing the fuse for the headlights. I'm not sure if your McCulloch ballast will need it but my Hella Ballast did.
