Celica Forums General Discussion General Sponsorship question!

When I head that I got a Sponsorship for $12,000.00 from SCP(Sport Compact Pro), I got really happy, but I called them to ask how was it going to work.. and they told me that I was still have to pay for parts, but the whole sale prize not the list prize.. and the $12,000.00 was to cover the difference.. .. Hum I used to own a High Performance Company, and we would get really good Prices from our distributor, I mean, we got our parts at the whole sale price, and we didn't have to pay any difference... I imagine that SCP do the same thing.. So Sponsorship is to sell me parts at a lower price.. and what about $12,000.00?? is that number just for show??? Have anyone ever had sponsored by SCP?? Is it worth it?? and do you guys know about other people that Sponsor as well??? Thank you!!

havent heared SCP but its sounds like its similar to what racer x motorsports offred my friend, they offred him 10 or 15 i dont remember its not a scam per say it was discussed in the past-search 4 racer x)anyways yes they offer you discounts on there products theyll say like 50-60 % off but what they dont tell you its percentage off the list price(like what you said) so your not really getting sponsored your more like getting the parts wholesale but your not really saving anything or getting "free stuff"

BTW were they cahrging you a processing fee??? dont do it i say :thumbsdow
