alright, just checked my lift bolts and one of the m&*f*kerz is broken it looks like i would have to take it to the dealer...right? now im at about 57k, car came with the certified extended warranty...100k i think. BUT i have a cold air Intake in there... so im afraid they would be shittin about it and wouldnt wanna change the bolts. What can i tell them? I know that they need to be changed from time to time, CAI would have nothing to do with it but how do i put that together? help anyone.. thanks.

if they hassle you, just tell them that any aftermarket modifications will not void your warranty as stated by the Magnusson-Moss Act. If you want more info, or a hard copy to back yourself up, search it on google...

Try to stick with the people you always work with and call them by ther name so that they konw you when they see you ... That way you get better customer service ... (regulare customer)

Under the Magnusson-Moss Act, aftermarket equipment that improves Performance does not void a vehicle manufacturer's original warranty, unless that warranty clearly states the addition of aftermarket equipment automatically voids the warranty or that the aftermarket device is the direct cause of the failure. The easiest way to check this is to look in your owner's manual under "What is not covered." Nonetheless, Dealers receive less compensation for warranty work than regular service rates and some have tried to deny warranty service. Under Magnusson-Moss Act a dealer must prove, not just vocalize, that aftermarket equipment caused the need for repairs before they can deny warranty coverage.
