ok, i have an offer to buy a n20 set up that is not new, but has never been hoooked up. it cost the guy $2400 and is set up specifically for an auto. he has it set up so that the spray kicks in at 3k and runs continuosly throughout the run. he says that with a torque convertor set up to 2.5k i should be able to run pretty close to a 14 flat. does this guy know what he's talking about?
N20 systems run around 500-1000...2400 seems an awful lot. you can put a down payment on a Turbo and you would get continous power rather than having to push a button..
i'm not too sure about it yet, and this guy wants about $1000 for it, i'm jsut saying that the kit cost the original owner $2400 b/c i know the guy who owned the kit originally and had to trade it b/c he lost his job, and now the guy who has it now is having $$$ too. (maybe the kit is bad luck and i should just stay away) anyways, all i know is that is set up for a 75 shot right now, and it has automatic shut off points and turn on points, purgers set up to spray in a V, and that it is NX. i haven't even seen the kit yet to know much else about it, if it will help i will ask the guy more tonight
I dont know ive never heard of just a nitro kit costing 2400 even with purge. Sounds kinda sketch. If you are really interested in N2O i would buy a new kit which would probably be about the same cost but atleast you know where its been. Also 75 shot is pretty high for stock internals.
plus you wouldn't want a 75 shot on your gts anyway. if you're seriously wanting to spend that much i say Turbo it...or spend sum dough on really good suspension. N20 shouldn't even come close to 2400...if you have a hard-on for the stuff then just get a new kit

ok the kit doesn't cost 2400. maybe installed and he gives you a little sucky sucky and the price may be that high. But from what i understand NOS is the cheapest way to considerably boost HP. however if you looking to spend that money go with the Turbo like CT said previously
you can also forget about having a 14.0 second auto gts just by adding the n20. lol I'd give mad props if you could hit mid 14 with I/H/E and the n20. lol
The nitrous kit is a NX single point EFI with the GenX 2 upgrade, remote opener, blow down tube, upgraded purge selnoid, MSD window switch, and V purge nozzle for the scoop in the Celi it was originally set up by a guy that has an auto GT. The only thing that needs replaced are the lines and jets. that shouldn't be to much
